Desde hace un tiempo van rodando por internet sitios de noticias falsas pero divertidas. Hay gente que un día se aburrió de las noticias tradicionales y decidió inventárselas. Me imagino que es así como nació Onion y otras publicaciones similares. Con esto de internet cualquiera puede colgar cualquier cosa y no pasa nada, es barato y te permite sentirte como un periodista de verdad. Sin embargo la historia no acaba ahí. En mis dias por USA, andando por Madison me resultó muy curioso (y divertido) encontrar que Onion se publica en papel real! Parece mentira, pero así es y me parece fantástico. Es posible crear un negocio a base de noticias falsas. Ahí queda eso. Algunos titulares de the onion en las fotos.ACT: la historia no es como la he contado, al parecer lleva mucho más tiempo, desde finales de los 80 y empezó en papel y no en internet.
###Sometime ago news sites with fake but funny news appeared in internet from nowhere. I guess there are people who find tradional news boring and decided to invent them, and thats how the onion and other publications were born. In the age of internet anybody can upload anything and nothing happens (or yes if s/he's lucky), is cheap and allows you to feel like a real journalist. However that's not the end of the story. In my days in USA, walking in Madison I found that the Onion was being published in real paper! It seems ridiculous but I think is fantastic. UPDATE: the history is not as i told, it seems that they are in business more time, since the end 80's and it started as an actual publication on paper and not on internet.
