Updates along the way

I've a theory, well, I have some more, but today I'll speak about the local market theory. Since some time ago I really think that if you want to know how is a city, how is the traditional people and how they live you should go to the central local market where you will find the daily and real interaction of the city, you'll see how things works.

Two of the ones who I like the most are the ones from Stockholm (saluhall, ostermalmstorg) in Sweden and Barcelona (the one near las ramblas) in Spain. I think that when you see and live them you kind of feel the city and the people and you may like it or not, but thats the way it is. Some time ago I also saw on the tv a documentary about some local markets in some cities in Spain, you could see how the people think there, and even the places where to take a sit and try out some of the best food there; after thinking about that I came up with this theory.

Tengo una teoría, bueno, tengo muchas pero hoy hablaré de la teoria de los mercados, esos donde la gente va a comprar mayoritariamente comida.  Desde hace un tiempo creo que si de verdad quieres conocer como es una ciudad, como es la gente "tradicional" y como viven, deberías ir al mercado central, donde encontraras el día a día y la interacción real, verás como las cosas funcionan.

Dos de los que mas me han gustado son los de Estocolmo (saluhall, ostermalmstor) en Suecia y el de Barcelona (el que está por las ramblas). Creo que cuando los ves sientes como es la ciudad y la gente, y puede que te guste o no, pero es como es. Hace tiempo vi un documental en la tele sobre algunos de estos mercados en algunas de las ciudades de españa, podías ver como la gente pensaba y ver que se ofrecia en los mercados, incluso la comida que podías probar en el mismo mercado; así es como llegué a esta conclusión.
